As a Full-Stack Product Engineer, you’ll own product areas from development and testing through to stable release.

About the role

As a Full-Stack Product Engineer, you will take ownership of clearly defined product areas and independently guide them from implementation and testing through to a stable release. You will develop AI-powered applications and workflows based on PANTA OS. This includes user interfaces, backend services, integrations, data flows, reporting, and quality assurance. You will work closely with senior engineers, product owners, and customer teams. Overall technical responsibility lies with the Technical Lead; within your area, you are responsible for reliable implementation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, Python, and FastAPI

  • Build interfaces, dashboards, workflows, review and approval features, and reporting

  • Implement backend services, APIs, data models, and integrations with enterprise systems

  • Develop AI features with quality checks, structured outputs, and human review steps

  • Work with PostgreSQL and create transparent, reliable data structures

  • Write maintainable code and meaningful automated tests

  • Analyze issues, improve monitoring, and support stable releases

  • Clarify requirements with the product team, customers, and business stakeholders

  • Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and technical trade-offs openly

  • Use Claude Code, Codex, and ChatGPT effectively while critically reviewing generated code

  • Experience with business-critical production systems, ideally in an enterprise or B2B environment

  • Strong knowledge of React and TypeScript, as well as experience with Python and API development

  • Experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL

  • A basic understanding of Docker, cloud environments, testing, monitoring, and deployment

  • The ability to quickly understand existing systems and develop them further in a meaningful way

  • The ability to identify missing information, clarify questions, and propose solutions

  • Clear communication skills and an interest in collaborating with customers and business teams

  • Experience in consulting, agencies, SaaS, or customer projects is a plus

  • Professional fluency in German and English

  • Willingness to regularly work with us in Hamburg and at customer locations

  • Experience with LLM-based product features such as structured outputs, retrieval, tool use, or evaluation is a plus

About you

You are curious, reliable, and comfortable working with ambiguous starting points. You ask about the goal, break problems down into meaningful steps, and independently move your area forward. To you, good software is not just clean code—it is a product that works for real users.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and learning budget

  • Remote-friendly with Hamburg as home base

  • Work on AI infrastructure that is actually in production
